Hi, I’m Jennifer, but please call me Jenny. I’m excited to share this space of connection and mindful movement with you.

Finding Balance in Motion and Stillness

For me, life is a moving meditation. I believe that intense activity—whether it's scaling a mountain, catching a wave, or hitting a personal best on the bike—requires an equal commitment to recovery and awareness. My personal passions drive my teaching: from the sustained focus needed for mountaineering and rock climbing, to the power and flow of surfing and boxing, and the endurance required for hiking and riding the Peloton. I understand the constant demands we place on our bodies and minds, and this deep appreciation for intense movement informs every class I teach, highlighting the crucial role of alignment, recovery, and mindful presence.

Following a cross-country move, I jumped at the opportunity to experiment with a variety of fitness studios and class types. I discovered restorative and slow flow yoga, functional training, mobility work, and Yoga Tune Up balls. These new practices allowed me to slow down, look inward, and learn more about my body and its needs. I began to understand that sometimes an ache needs movement instead of rest, just as much as my mind needs the feel of both.
